Cookie notice

This notice supplements the privacy notice and explains which cookies and similar technologies davide.debernardi.dev uses, under Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the Italian Data Protection Authority’s guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools of 10 June 2021.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage, work the same way and are treated here as cookies.

2. How we classify them

We use two categories, the same you see in the banner: "Necessary", technical cookies the site needs to work and to respect your choices, always on and not subject to consent; "Measurement", for usage statistics, only on if you accept them. The site uses no marketing or profiling cookies.

3. Necessary cookies

Storing your cookie choices (c15t, run by the site itself): remembers what you chose through the consent banner, so you are not asked on every page. Duration: up to 12 months.

The site uses no external font services: fonts are served by the site itself.

4. Measurement cookies (only with your consent)

If you accept the "Measurement" category, the site loads Google Tag Manager (provided by Google Ireland Limited), which runs Google Analytics 4. Google Analytics uses the _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies to tell visits apart and measure sessions; their default duration is up to 2 years. These cookies are not considered technical because a third party manages them. Before you choose, and if you refuse, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are not loaded and no data reach Google.

5. How to give, refuse or withdraw consent

• On your first visit the banner offers "Reject all", "Accept all" and "Customise", equally prominent; no optional category is pre-selected.
• You can change your mind at any time from "Cookie preferences" at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted.
• The banner asks again when the services or purposes described here change, and in any case not before 6 months from your last choice.
• You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking necessary cookies may stop the site from remembering your choices.

6. List of services

The table below is generated from the same configuration the banner uses, so it always lists the services actually active on the site, with provider, purpose, duration and a link to the provider’s own notice.

The controller, recipients, transfers and your rights (including the right to complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority) are described in the privacy notice.
